Couples in all stages of relationships come to Key West. I often meet dating couples that are on vacation and trying to get away from cold weather. Some couples have been married for many years and come to have a Key West vow renewal. Others, of course, come to have a Key West wedding on one of our many beaches or at a Key West resort with palm trees, lush gardens and winding brick pathways. Sean and Priyanka came for a simple vacation, at least that's what she thought. Sean and Priyanka had been married to each for several years, but Sean wanted to surprise his lovely wife with a new wedding ring, presenting it just as he would if this were a Key West proposal. They came to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, one of the best places to peacefully watch a gorgeous sunset. They walked along the beach, listening to the soft lap of the waves along the shoreline and taking in the sunshine and breeze in the southernmost park in the United States. As they entered a clearing, Sean stopped, dropped to one knee and presented his wife with a beautiful new wedding ring. In that moment, Key West was transformed into a romantic destination and their visit will surely be a cherished lifetime memory.
